Designer ribbon tends to have a thicker wire. Using a thicker wire provides structure to your bow. Even with the thickest of ribbon material, the correct wire will keep your loops in place. Once you get the hang of making a bow you will find that designer ribbon stays in place preventing the need to constantly fluff your bow. We touch each roll we purchase to ensure we only carry ribbons with the appropriate gauged (thickness) wire. Many designer ribbons also have a fused back meaning 2 materials are bonded together to give the ribbon more structure.

We carry many brands of designer ribbons. We have a large selection including hard to find designs of Farrisilk along with d. stevens, RAZ, Reliant, Regency, Vickerman and we will be carrying some John Mark ribbons in the Fall of 2026.
